Emilio Saladriagas set himself on fire on 7/30/08 — what happened to him?

I posted about Emilio Saladriagas’ suicide attempt at Man sets himself on fire over Rent-A-Center collection efforts

He went to Rent-A-Center, set himself on fire over collection efforts and ended up in critical condition in the burn unit.

It really hurts to see the reaction in comments about the articles, the absence of empathy and the hateful comments.

I guess he didn’t succeed in killing himself and I bet the M.F. won’t pay his medical bills either. Instead of being a regular deadbeat this guy is a charbroiled deadbeat.

What happened to Emilio Saladriagas?

I did a PACER search for “Emilio Saladriagas” and found nothing, but there could be legal action in STATE court.

I searched Google and found no update.   I can’t imagine that NOBODY did a followup story.

Did he live?

How is he doing?
